Vanderkloof Holiday Resort – What is happening

After a few enquiries about the current camping conditions of the caravan park in Vanderkloof, please see the pictures of the conditions as it was on 14 November 2013.

The dam and water itself is very clean as we are used to in Vanderkloof and is a haven for any water activities.

The caravan park is nice and green with a lot of shade. Almost all the grass areas was being watered while I was driving around the caravan park, but is already nice and green, ideal for anything that requires green grass! There is enough shade as well to pitch a tent or caravan under.

One negative at the moment is that there seems to be quite a bit of weeds near the edge of the dam at the caravan park. This however comes and go so it may be cleared up in a few days or weeks. It does unfortunately not look very pretty. The rest of the dam however is in perfect condition.

I wasn’t able to get inside the chalets but from recent “stories” it is advisable to take a can of Doom or something with you if you are planning to stay in a chalet.

For more information or to book please call 053 664 0198 during office hours. If you are still a bit concerned as to the conditions, why not try Rhino Manor, Tipuana, Pride Rock Lodge or Kristalsee Guest House?

If you recently stayed at the resort and have some photos to help other visitors to this site, or have an opinion you want to share, please email it to info@vanderkloofdam.co.za it will be highly appreciated!

      Hallo Charlotte,

Ek lees hier dat jou pa die dam gebou het. Wie is jou pa want ons het ook daar gewerk tussen 1972 en 1975.

      Groete
